I have been working on a small model on the side of my synoptic project. I wanted to make something that was space related. I have modeled my own satellite that would float around in space.
Here are a few rendered images from Substance Painter of my space satellite model.
I had used the program Maya 2017 to create this model. Over the process of making this i didn’t come across any problems. I had no issues with faces being inside of faces or edges inside edges. I had used the extrude tool quite a bit with this model.
When texturing this in Substance Painter i had went with colors that match real life satellite’s that we have in space. I have used the emissive tool for the engine of the satellite and also for the power ball in the middle of the model.
