borderlands 2

The second Borderlands game was released on the 18th September 2012. The game was designed using the same engine that was used for the first one, Unreal Engine 3. The object in this game is to work your way through the campaign and kill Handsome Jack.

The target audience for both games are 18 and above. The reason why the developers target 18 year olds and older is because there is a lot of swearing in the game which is inappropriate for children. Within the game there is a lot of blood and violence. The language and the violence in the game made to game unsuitable for people under the age of 18.

The series has been announced to have a 3rd instalment called Borderlands 3. The game hasn’t got a release but people are hoping they will fined out soon.
