Rendering A Model In Maya

Today in Maya I have finished texturing this spaceship model. I have used three – point lighting to make it look the way it is. Three – point lighting is a key light which is placed at the front, a back light placed at the back and fill light is paced at the side to make darker areas lighter. I used the colour blue fro the key light, purple for the fill light and yellow for the back light.

I have also rendered this model using the Maya Software renderer.

This spaceship model is fully finished and I am very happy with the outcome. This model isn’t mine I have used Matt’s unwrapped spaceship. My spaceship model was almost fully UV unwrapped but the texture I was using had disappeared and I was unable to find it. Also other textures wouldn’t work on my model in all different renderer options.
